I had to see a doctor about suspected tonsillitis and was seen the very same day. I am not from the area so I had to temporary register myself for the day so I feel very fortunate to have been seen so quickly. The only hiccup was that after my first visit to the doctors I was told to go back to where I was staying and that I would receive a phone call appointment, despite knowing that if it was suspected tonsillitis I would have to re-visit to be checked in person. Overall very happy with the service.

Well, what a visit. Although the doctor was running late she took the trouble to listen to what I was saying and completely understood what I was going through. She, like me could not totally understand what the letter from the consultant meant, but we worked through it together. Thank you.

Not a great visit - told the Dr that I was having difficulties coping with my on going problems and was told it would improve. Well it has not really over the past few years so not sure why it should do now - felt more depressed leaving the surgery than I did when I went in as did not feel that I had been listened to. Not normally happens with this doctor so was surprised as waited to see this particular doctor as I was trying to follow their philosophy of 'continuity of care' with the same doctor - although with the lack of appointments this is difficult with any doctor. When trying to book online today as a test the next appointment for a doctor was a month away! A family member contacted her surgery and the appointment was the next day - big difference. Again I must stress that this is unusual as normally all fab.

We have been attending Crouch Oak Family Practice for 16 years and through all that time we have experienced a great service from very caring doctors that listen and have supported us through illness or operations. The receptionists are always friendly and we are always able to obtaining appointments or telephone consultations in a timely manner and when its an emergency they pull out all the stops to help. A really caring practice.
